At the time of writing, this week's Unconcious Mutterings prompt has not been posted yet. So I'm using last weeks. If I spot that this week's has gone up I will add that onto the end of this post. "Rules are, there are no rules." There are no right or wrong answers. Don't limit yourself to one word responses; just say everything that pops into your head.
- Situation :: Comedy
- Theme song :: What would be the theme song of my life? Oh my goodness, what a question? Something loud, somethign funny, something sad, somethign victorious, gosh, I honestly don't know. Wonder if anyone has a suggestion?
- Kelly :: It's a name, that's truly all that comes to mind, I have no reaction to this whatsoever. I never personally knew anyone called Kelly, and that's it, Gosh I'm boring today!
- Club :: cave man's club! Hey remember this? CAPTAIN C A V E M A A A A A A A N I used to lvoe that, haven't seen it in years, even on the rerun channels.
- Swerve :: had to do some of that recently driving around in the awful weather we've been having. Sometimes to avoid floods, sometimes to avoid debris in the road. The other day I drove back from dropping my son off at school in the worst rain I have EVER driven in. I had my wipers on FULL BLAST and could not see through the splatters on the windscreen. I'd get a split second glimpse, then nothing again and so on. It's a road that isn't really safe to pull over on, and if I can't see in front of me, that means the guy behind me can't see in front of him and would not see me there if I stopped, so I just kept going, knowing there was a pull in just ahead, but by the time I got there it was starting to ease and I could see. Then the following day son and I followed a thunderstorm back from the same school. The same patch of road, has fields along both sides, and we were watching the lightning fork down from the clouds! AWESOME!
- Couch :: potato. Something I've been too much of since I hurt my back, BUT when it hurts to move what do you do? Trouble is it hurts to sit too, for any length of time.
- Bigfoot :: that's me! UK Size 8. Well, I used to think that was big until my boys BOTH overtook me, the youngest is 12 years old and now has size 9 feet! I guess although on the large size for women my feet are not huge, but they are WIDE! And boy does that cause problems in buyin shoes to fit! You know these high street shoe stores and they say "Oh look, we have a, b, c, d, e, ee, eee, eeee, eeeee. The standard fit is a, narrower ones come in aa, aaa, etc. these stores that pat themselves on the back because they offer WIDE shoes are usually selling a c, or AT THE MOST a d. I need an eee! I cannot buy shoes to fit on the high street! plain and simple cannot! I have to resort to shoe shopping via catalogue, great fun!
- Arbitrary :: Decision made without thought, just for the sake of making a decision.
- Inventor :: I used to think my youngest son would become one. But these days he wants to be a CSI. He's 12, he excels at school, is brilliant in the sciences, and loves to read books etc about the science behind this stuff.
- Blazer :: YUCKY horrible things that schools make children wear as a method of torture! And expect parents to keep them clean and tidy. RIDICULOUS! You can't afford to buy more than a couple during their school career, because they cost so much, so you buy the first one too big, so they walk around with this stupid thing on, that is obviously 2 sizes too big, you sew the sleeves up so they don't look too bad and let them grow. Then they grow and so you let the sleeves down, but it always always always leaves a line around where they were folded up before. And then eventually as you are trying to eek the last life out of their blazer before buying a new one, you can tell it's too small, with the sleeves just slightly waving goodbye to their wrists. Actually for youngest son this shouldn't be so bad, his blazer cost much less than the one for the school eldest went to. We got the whole of youngest's uniform for less than 1 blazer for eldest!
Here goes, Week 233.
- Deputy :: DAWG! (heehee, 2nd set running that I've mentioned old cartoons) But those old cartoons were just better than the stuff they have now. OK so the new stuff is more lifelike and better animated and so on, but it doesn't have the simplicity and childlikeness of the old stuff!
- Name :: Zoe Selina Gregg. I LOVE my name! Zoe is an ancient Greek word, meaning life. There are two words for life in the ancient Greek, the other one, BIOS is all about the physicality of life, flesh and bones, etc. but ZOE is so much more exciting, Zoe means "God's Life in us!" Isn't that awesome? Aren't I blessed that non Christian parents gave me such an awesome name? GOD IS GOOD!
- Arrested :: NEVER Don't think I've ever seen someone arrested either. I lead a fairly sheltered life.
- Trade :: Swap something I have and don't necessarily need (or have some spare) but you want for something you have and don't necessarily need but I want! Everyone wins!
- Old :: How I feel a lot of the time lately! My back still hurts! Have you been reading my blog long? Do you remember when I fell on the ice? March 2006, that's 16 months ago! And here I am still in pain. Oh sure, I DO have days now when it doesn't bother me, but for some reason this week it has not been a good week and I am in so much pain I resorted to my pain killers before church today. I don't like taking them, they taste naff, and anyway, I just don't like the idea of relying on them, so most of the time I manage without, but this morning it was obvious I needed them today. Anyway, I was telling someone at church how it was hurting and he said something about it maybe to do with the weather" OH DID THAT MAKE ME FEEL OLD! I said it made me sound like my grandma "oooh dearie, I can tell there's rain coming, I can feel it in me bones!"
- Fingerprint :: UNIQUE! I AM unique, there is only one me! God made only one me, no other exactly the same, and he loves me as a unique individual. There is no one else he loves quite the same as He loves me, that is POWERFUL stuff.
- Dwarf :: Ooooh, plants, not people! Sorry! there is a set of fuscias I would love to have in my garden, 1 normal sized white one and then 7 dwarf fuscia varieties. See, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in my garden! Heeheee!
- Newspaper :: I only read our local paper these days, and even that probably only once a week or so! We buy it on Thursdays because that's the day they have all the job adverts in, and then occasionally on other days. I get most of my news online, primarily at the BBC news website, or at the website of our local paper, linked above.
- Gabriel :: Oooh there's a book, about the story of Jesus' life from the angels point of view, it's perhaps a little irreverent in parts, but funny and moving, and insightful, erm, let me see if I can find a link . . . . . . . . . . . Heck, I can't even remember the title. Mind has gone blank on that one, I'll share it later if I remember.
- Certificate :: Do I really need one? Apparently so! I know I passed my exams at school! It was a long time ago but I know I passed them. But I can't prove it because somehow my mom and dad misplaced my certificates. I know they wouldn't have done it on purpose, but at one point they were in this drawer in this cabinet in their house and next time I looked they weren't and no ones quite sure where they went. I could chase up replacement copies, but that relies on KNOWING which exam boards each exam was with and even the school isn't 100% certain on that one! So, do I really need them? Apparently if I want a job, well, a lot of them anyway, yes I need them! HO HUM! It's not a big deal, really, it can be chased up, I just haven't done it yet.

You're the first person I've read who didn't put Edison for inventor! But you referenced cartoons twice, pretty cool!
God Bless :)
