Here is my entry for this week's Thankfulness journey, in no particular order . . . .
316. Holiness is about adding, not taking away, it's about what we do do, not what we don't do.
317. The honesty of a good friend, who won't take no for an answer and won't let me hide and divert.
318. Father in law is doing as OK as can be expected, and gave hubby some money for petrol for all the visits he had been making.
319. Reminders of my worth.
320. The police ARE doing their job. It might not have been comforting when they arrived at our house late one evening and insisted on getting eldest out of bed (hoax call was made to them about gunshots coming from our house). BUT it IS nice to know they would respond if something like that were happening.
321. Dentists
322. Pain Killers
323. 400+ children at our church building for their school Easter Celebration. AWESOME, incredible, amazing morning.
324. 500+ children in other schools also heard the Easter message "He is not here, He has risen" through assemblies in other schools.
325. "I've never been here before, it's nice isn't it."
326. 4 shopping bags finished and ready to sell.
327. Growing excitement about trip to Romania later this year.
If you wish to participate in blogging about your list of 1000 gifts or in Thankful Thursday, you can do so by clicking on the banners at the top of this post.

You definitely have my empathy on the dentists and pain killers items. Just had oral surgery this morning. :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have such a fine turnout for the Easter celebrations, too!
I clicked over from Ann's. It's lovely to meet you. The Lord be with you.
What a great list!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been unpleasant being woken by the police. It is so nice to find a blog from England written by a believer in Christ. I hear so much about Europe being post-Christian. I will pray for you as you are a light there.
ReplyDeleteI like #316 - that is so true and such a great way to put it! I've come over from Ann's and it's been good to read your list today. May your week be filled with Him and all the grace He gives.
