social spark Aisling Beatha: Menu Plan Monday

Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy your stay, however short, and find something that interests and blesses you.

The tabs just below will take you to posts of particular topics. So if you are looking for my posts on food, fitness or creativity, you will find them there. You will also find my posts on thankfulness or other more contemplative posts, as well as a set of posts with traditional blessings from a number of different cultures.

You can find posts with labels not included in that list via the labels list over in the sidebar.

Menu Plan Monday

Breakfasts are cereal with milk or yoghurt, or toast, etc
Lunches are leftovers, soups, sandwiches, noodles, salads, etc

This is going to be a different week.  No school, so youngest should be home all day, although I think he's in for a few hours the next 3 days for revision sessions.  Eldest is also home for two weeks starting today.

Sausages (from reduced cabinet this afternoon), with roast onion instant mashed potato and mixed vegetables.
Followed by Lemon Surprise Dessert

Pizza, Oven Chips (fries) and salad or veggies.
More lemon Surprise Dessert.

Spicy Mince with Rice and Spinach

We'll probably go bowling and eat at the bowling alley, but that might happen during the day.  We'll grab something from the supermarket take out counters if not.

BBQ if the weather is right (which it looks like it should be).
So burgers, sausages, bread rolls, potato salad, other salad.

Easter Sunday.  I think I might go a bit Greek with our Easter meal this year.
Greek Salad for starter
Lamb with herbs and garlic for main, served with baby roast potatoes and seasonal veg.
And finish with Baklava.
